I took a little side trip today while traveling down to a museum in southern Michigan to have a photo of mine hang in it for a few months. I always pass this barn and sign (4th year that I have had one of my photos hang in their museum) and have always wanted to take a picture of it. So while traveling southbound, I figured out what roads I needed to take when I came back (northbound) after I dropped off my package. The side road is pretty busy with no place to pull off in the winter. I waited in a nearby driveway until the northbound lane was clear, drove to the barn. I double-checked my rearview mirrors - no cars - jumped out and took a number of shots. My wife kept her eye on the traffic (to make sure I did not get hit) until I was done (about 2 minutes), then I jumped back into the car and drove off.
