It was a very windy day, especially at the top of this power pole, and his feathers were getting quite ruffled.
We seem to meet this way quite often so I decided to put this shot into the meet-up theme :)

Thanks again for your comments and favs!! .. Andrea, this particular owl seems especially patient with me and never flies off, but the owl I saw down the road from him was a different story. It seems to be a younger bird and kept flying away to another power pole.. so I`m quite sure this one was here last winter, too.. he looks quite familiar.
