Batteries not included,
for these hands-of-time.
A snapshot of a moment,
that long since faded,
yet time unabaited,
because I forgot to wind it.
What it took to find it,
was a reminder in the mirror,
didn't make it any clearer.
Several score older,
and many more o're my shoulder.
The Einstein illusion,
confronting my face,
without a trace,
while 'watching' and embarrasing,
the whole human race.
Such a disgrace.
