I was going through some of the pics from our vacation out west last summer, and found this one that I thought came out pretty well. It was taken from the 26th floor observation area of the LDS Office Building in Temple Square. That's the Tabernacle down center, obviously. The Salt Palace Convention Center is there left of center, behind the tall brown building. North Temple Street runs off on the right there, the red lines are the construction zones for the light rail system they were building while we were there. Sharp eyed viewers will also see the Deseret News building, and the Union Pacific railroad station just above center as well.
The air was a little dusty and smoky from the heat and brush fires, this was taken in late June 2012 with my (since sold) Canon 10-22 UWA lens and 50D.
