It was hard to watch as ex-Norfolk Admiral Eric Neilson took on current Admiral Jay Rosehill in this explosive fight.
The Syracuse Crunch has 16 of last year's Calder Cup-winning Norfolk Admirals on their roster this year.
The Norfolk Admirals now have the majority of the team from last year's Syracuse Crunch.
This game marked the return of the ex-Admirals, now playing for the Syracuse Crunch.
The fans gave the Crunch a standing ovation when they came out for warm-ups and the team gave the fans a stick salute as they were cheered off the ice at the game's conclusion ... a game that Syracuse won.
It was a very exciting, intense game full of the stuff of hockey....fights.
The game Saturday night was business as usual, with the fans cheering on their new Admirals. As it should be.
