The original color version of one of the Ice Tree images.
On the day before this photo was taken, a fog had covered many of the hilltops in central New York. With the temperature dropping, every twig and branch in sight was glazing over. We were an hour from home, and I had no camera.
I returned the next day, camera in hand, and the icy coating on the trees had turned white, with the sky clearing to a vivd blue.
