I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dreams to shame
And still I dream he'd come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from the hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

I dream much the same, yet you put it to picture so much better than I. So much sorrow to carry deserves forgivness and a promice of a better tomorrow. I hope Photo of the Week will help start. The king is dead, so love live the queen!

James ~ Les Mis has long been a favorite. I recently saw the screen adaptation. I know that it is up for several academy awards, but I much prefer the stage version. However, Ann Hathaway's interpretation of Fantine was strong... more the way I have always seen Fantine in my mind. The image was built around that imagining. Thanks for you continuing support and sweet soul.

Squeezes my heart, Bailey. Such a beautiful and deeply moving interpretation of the loss and suffering of Fantine. Les Mis is a long favorite of mine, too.
