Inscription inside George Santayana's The Last Puritan, pub. 1936. When I picked up this book in a local used bookstore and read this I hugged the book to me and took it home to be part of my own library. The nameplate inside the front of the book bears the name of Grace Howard. Grace, your book is safe with me.
