Philadelphia Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania, USA.
This prison was abandoned in the 1970s and then reopened in the 1990s in it’s current state of urban decay. It’s now an historic site, with tours operating all through the year.
Another cell block, with ornate gate.

I love this! Excellent view point. So, when they give tours, do you have much time/opportunity to shoot?

Hey thanks, Kelly! We booked a cell block to ourselves for a couple of hours, so we could venture through at our own pace, then after that hour it becomes open to the public with the rest of the prison. There was a lot of time to shoot, but even with that time we missed some things.

Thanks, Andrew. I've always wanted to tour the prison and shoot inside. Thanks for the info.

No problem Kerry. I'd recommend it as a tour, so much to see and shoot. I've got more shots of the interior, will be uploading them soon.
