Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

I took this shot just a few minutes ago here at home.6:52 EST. We have had some of the most unusual sunsets lately. The thin line of the clouds appeared to lop the top off of old sol. I enjoyed the view and thought I would share.
