Photo of Boots Roots,a street performer in Chatt.Tn. Boots has been around ever since I can remember,but it had been quite a while since I had seen him. He's no B.B. King and the guitar is no Lucille,but he is quite entertaining. His motto is written on his guitar.It says......you pay,I play. He has a piece of cardboard taped on the table below his huge tip jar that says :
Dope is a joke that gets NO laughs.
If you are looking for something for nothing,you are in the wrong place.
Save the blues,dig deep.
I've played with the best. I've had the part of the understudy for Smokey the Bear,but I turned yellow when I saw fire.
No matter how we feel about each other,God loves us all.
Needless to say after reading these WORDS BY BOOTS, I left smiling.
