This image of Michael and Lauren was incomplete without the Impressionistic touches that created a 'painting' of the image. I love what is possible in post-processing. I also love the depth of feeling evident here.

It is always exciting when what I see is what you see. I have loved this image since I shot it but it was always not quite 'finished'. According to Pissaro's quote, I had not painted on until there was nothing more to add. I think the quote has much application to all JPGers regardless of the paths taken to the 'nothing more' end of the final image.
