Remember "My friend went abroad and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"?

Well, this crumbled cotton bag rolls around in my van for the past few days, as it does every time I reorganize my clothing. But it's not lousy despite it looks, because no friend had brought me that as a souvenir. It was given to me while there, at Mavelikara, a rural town & home to Kerala famous art university.

For a couple of days, as it says - in September 2011, I was the only foreigner in the audience (even was asked to write my impressions for the festivals newspaper :)

This morning I thought to givew it a shot (literally) and here's the result. Thursday morning, hanging on my van's door in a Loma Linda parking lot, California.

Dedicated with love to all my friends in Mavelikara (and there are many through my 3 weeks stay). Especially to Sangeeth Thali a friend from Mavelikara who is now doing as a Photographer at Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2012 and was my trigger for taking this photo today.
