Part of a sequence of shots I got of a raven chasing a hawk that had inadvertently flown over the raven`s nest. The raven reacted furiously, immediately taking chase after the hawk. I thought at this point that the raven was going to kill the hawk, he had her where he wanted her..

Oh my... this is really dramatic action in the sky...Amazing shot! Yesterday my husband said that he saw a group of birds plus a rabbit eating sunflower seeds on the ground when they saw the shadow of a hawk...They were partially hidden by the used Christmas tree that is lying on the ground where they eat and where the rabbit lives...He said they all froze and didn't move a muscle. They are very aware that a hawk could snatch one of them ...Thankfully the hawk flew past..
