I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest...Psalms 55:8

In order to stay in shape,
Birds accept the storm.
Winter they can't escape
So they bear it in true form...
Poetry by me, AJP..

Whenever I get tired of winter, these sweet little birds really give me inspiration...

My husband and I got out and walked our 3 miles in the storm today and while it was rather invigorating we confronted it.

Good for you and Dorsey!!! Walking 3 miles in a storm, that's dedication to your walking plan. Love this photo of the chickadee as it is weathering out the storm.

Wow, good for you, although a refeshing walk like that is invigorating, poor little chickadee, hope he holds on.

I am totally impressed! Somebody from Fitness Magazine should be on your doorstep tomorrow requesting an interview! This shot looks like a painting.

Thank you all for your comments...the old rolled glass window is a bit of a challenge to focus through especially when it is snowing as the glass produces distortions which gives it an impressionist look...but I am glad this one turned out.
