Three recorders from my collection: Alto, soprano, and a miniature (that actually plays). I also have a tenor, sopranino and garklein.

You continue to surprise Don......Wonderful image of instruments that our children all started on. We have a class at school that all play the Tin thats an interesting sound when heard in unison........I think.

Sue, I would think that a bunch of beginner Tin Whistles would be about as bad as beginner violins!

  • Bailey Cooper

Bailey Cooper said (26 Feb 2013):

My grandson, Justin, would love these. He is our musical prodigy. We're heading out to Denver for a couple of weeks on Thursday. He's added more instruments since I last saw him. One is a didgeridoo. I'm DYING to shoot that. He also has a lute. Very enticing.

Regarding the miniature, my dad had a miniature harmonica when I was little. He'd put the whole thing in his mouth, hardly move his lips and play all kinds of stuff. I also loved his Jew's harp and ukulele. We had a real menagerie of instruments, then and now.

Love you entry for its quality and originality.
