Doesn't this look like it was taken from a burned out house or something? No actual houses were harmed in the making of this shot. It's a scene of Friedrich Schiller's tragedy "Maria Stuart" rendered on cardboard within a shoebox (which was done by Christine Einsele). I took a shot, and the burned look was added in postprocessing via Snapseed for iPad. There's a b&w versionI like even better, but it doesn't really work on JPGmag.
