This organ was built in 1830 by the Boston craftsman Thomas Appleton. Standing over 15 feet tall, the organ has 16 ranks totaling 836 pipes gold-leafed , two 58-note manuals, and 27-note pedalboard added when it was reinstalled, in 1883.

    Nice shot, Ioana! Organs contained in one case like that are usually called Tracker Organs. The keys are directly connected to the pipes.
