This organ was built in 1830 by the Boston craftsman Thomas Appleton. Standing over 15 feet tall, the organ has 16 ranks totaling 836 pipes gold-leafed , two 58-note manuals, and 27-note pedalboard added when it was reinstalled, in 1883.
