    Incredible shot!!! This is a national bird of my country....I really surprise ...why males are having colour compared to female?

    Yeah it is bewildering, as the females are so dull in comparison. I guess it's similar to most birds, most notably all the birds of paradise in Papua New Guinea. However I feel males competing with looks is a natural way forward. I'd rather out-dress you than fight you!
