Using natural light makes photos look so natural. While I do not always use just natural light, I like to use it as much as possible. Flash from the camera can be to harsh and if I want/need flash, I use my speedlight which gives a more natural looking light. The other day I was out walking in a wooded area and saw so much potential for getting some interesting natural light shots. This is one of them that I liked a lot and it is straight from the camera, no tweaking at all, except for a modest border and my signature.

Maggie, I will use this photo to make a greeting card. I make them off and on, using both my photos and sometimes painting on the cards instead. I have made Christmas cards for many years. I know that you have not had an easy week. My sympathies to you for your loss.
