If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

I was roaming through the backstreets during my lunch break when all of a sudden I heard the sound of music. I followed the music and after a while I found this guy.
I looked at his hands and he was holding an instrument. I had a slight brain freeze and couldnt remember what it was called.
I asked him and he said it is an accordion. I asked him a bit more about it and he said that they range from really expensive which cost literally thousands and cheaper ones which can be hand for a few hundred. I smiled and asked him which category his belonged to and smiled and said the cheaper range.
I asked him how long he has been playing for and he said that he has been practicing for a few years but isnt part of a band, he is a soloist.
I asked him to let me know if he has a show or anything sometime and I will come and check it out and gave him my name card.
I have walked past the art work in this tunnel a few times and always thought to myself that it would be nice to take a picture with it, but I could never think of how to use it. Pretty crazy how things work out sometimes :)
