This is an aerial view looking down on Veterans Memorial Bridge near Route 7 in New Milford Ct. It rained for about
one-week. Supermarkets, gas stations, Dunkin Donuts pictured to the upper left of the bridge including car dealerships were totally submerged under water. The Housantonic River was over flowing with water like a clogged sink. The National guard was called in as ordered by former Ct. Governor O'Neil. I was up in the air for about 2 hours at the same time doing the traffic report for the radio station. Michael Asaro photo from the past C1985

    Reminds me of the Nov. 1985 flood in Eastern West Virginia, the death toll was high and many homes were washed away.
