Due to heavy rains in New England today a school bus carrying 35 children slid and crashed into a telephone pole. All this Middle-School student could do was peer out of the bus's window after live power lines
encompassed the bus. Fire Department and CL&P crews were called to the scene. All the children were safely escorted on to another bus after the power to the live wires were cut. Although there were no injuries the kids were very shaken up. Some parents met their children at the scene to pick them up after being notified of the crash. The driver of the bus was not injured. There are no final goodbyes unless you want there to be. There are no first hello's unless you want there to be. There is no emotional jab from either hello or goodbye
