Big time spring cleaning!
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

We are having quite a bit of upgrading with new cabinets, counters, and a big bookcase built. So I am inadvertently doing spring cleaning - this room is my computer room, or as my husband calls it, my den. I cleaned and re-organized the closet in this room, had to make way for new carpet to be laid so everything on the closet floor had to be removed and I had to empty the whole room to make way for the new carpet in this room and for the craftsmen to build a cabinet, showing on the right side of the photo, counters on two walls, a triangle in the middle for my TV and in the middle of the room will be my new computer desk, sized to fit me. It will be free standing, equipped with legs that can glide so that it can be moved around the room to wherever I want it to be. I am gaining 19 drawers in this room to help me organize things and keep clutter at bay. This is a combo room for my computer and some of my art, the counter tops will have granite on top, left over from the granite counter tops in our bathrooms. We had to buy a big slab and it was just luck that there was enough left to do the counters in this room. I can use these counter tops to do my small art stuff and making my greeting cards and Christmas cards. Then I will not be doing them at the dining room table. The wall above the counter next to the cabinet, will be fitted with a white magnetic board. Several years ago our daughter and I painted this day/night cloud theme on three walls and we are leaving them alone. Right now I am emptying our kitchen cabinets for the woodwork in there to be revarnished. When it all comes together, it is going to be so fresh and almost like getting a new house!
