The Khardungla Pass is a a high mountain pass located in the Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The road leading to this pass is the highest motorable road in the world. It lies around 39km away from the city of Leh.

The Pass is located at a height of 18,279 feet above sea level.

On the way to this pass i could not help but notice the vast blanket of white snow covering the Ladakh Range. A sign board put up a few kms before the Khadungla pass to indicate a sharp right turn was lying on the edge of the road in such a manner that it felt like it was purposefully positioned in that way to make fun of the ocassional passerby.
