Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

I studied this gnarl and I found it to be fascinating on a tree in Hermann Park, Houston, TX. There are many images to be found, some women, some animals, what do you see?

I see what looks like a young boy hunched over cradling a dog in his lap toward the bottom right side of the tree...Above his head is a lady figure with the arm raised holding an object in her hand ...Old gnarled trees like this hold many interesting things to see and it is a good capture.

Just as life. This gnarl was formed by some injury to the tree and has added character to the tree.
