Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

What a fabulous shoot I've had with the talented actor Michael McQuary AKA 'Fu Manchu' in his mysterious apartment!

When entering Michael's intimate magical place you feel like you stepped out of New york City and entered the forbidden city of China of the early 20the century. The atmosphere was magical and Michael, as talented as he is, didn't have to put much of an effort to enchant my camera.

* IN THIS SHOT: Michael, after living over 10 years in his magical dominion, sold the place and plan on moving to a different state soon. This shot was the last in our photo session as he symbolically holds the curtain with sadness as it marks the 'end of the show' where he knows this is the end of an era, the New York City era of his life, and all what he built will be given away soon.
Also, every artifact (including this curtain) in Michael's apartment played a roles in his past acts so each artifacts holds a tremendous sentimental value.

For those of you who don't know Michael, here is a short youtube video of Michael on stage:

This is the first photo of many excellent ones of Michael. Gonna upload the rest soon.
