Set yourselves... stand ye still....II Chronicles 20: 17

On the ground they are set
Three tulips and a milker bucket
Stalwart and upright....
Embracing warm sunlight...
Bringing memories rewarding
In the stillness of morning.

Poetry by me, AJP

When my late mother moved to a small apartment in her advanced years, she understandably couldn't take everything with her...After a rummage sale, I found this old bucket that had not been sold on the home place....My folks used to go to flea markets and rummage sales and no doubt the bucket was one of my late father's buys at a sale. This morning the tulips are not opened as they were yesterday .. it rained last night bringing cold weather.

Thank you all for your kind words...The tulips really got rained on today and more are
blooming....Maggie, I am almost positive the tulips came from Amsterdam. it has been
a number of years since we planted the bulbs and they have done well for us most years
except when one year the rabbits got into them....I love the red tulips especially.

This is a wonderful still, Andrea! Love that milkers pot and the red tulips, even if the rain made them close up a bit, they are still beautiful!!!
