What can you do about someone heading your-way with jealous thoughts and evil aims?

In some western countries you raise your fences, lock the gates, arm alarm, call the police or if you carry a knife/gun you draw, threat and sometimes shoot, injure and kill.

However in India they had thousands of years to streamline their lives.
To break the vicious cycle of violence they came up with Drishti Bommai (literally meaning a 'gazing toy/doll').

Once you come across, the surprise and your gaze fixed on it cuts your thread of thought. That easy it just disarmed the "bomb" you're carried.

In my daily life I carry a camera for any interesting happening on my way. Funny, that the most unpredictable, unique, surprising sights I forget to capture. It's the same effect Indian harnessed to help divert and relax tensed situations.
