Each season, major league baseball teams have a picture day (I think they still do). Players sit on benches and are separated from the fans by a fence. The fans just stroll along, looking at and taking pictures of their heroes. For the players...Sort of like being in a zoo!

This was shot in the 80's for The Toronto Star.

I think besides you the person on the shoulders had the best shot! Also, no feeding allowed

Tom Henke #50, was the dominant closer for the Jays back in the day. Likely the best all-time closer for the Jays. His nickname was "the Terminator." Rance Mullinicks, played third base and went on to become a broadcaster. I think (Dennis) Lamp was a starting pitcher, and as memory serves, a pretty decent one too. Nice shot of "feeding time."

I'm not sure which side contains the animals!! Those poor players! That's why I'm not famous---all those photos would be SO annoying!! Fantastic meta!!

That's a perfect Meta shot!...I think you had the best spot to get the angle that you did of the people with cameras and the players with the numbers on their backs...I have a feeling that some of the meta probably didn't always get the faces of the players in focus with the fence in the way except for the person who is head and shoulders above the crowd:)

If baseball didn't work out they could always form a law firm, "Mulliniks, Smith, Henke & Lamp"!
