In town and even villages I saw these heavy, beautifully chiseled grinding stones tossed aside. Sometimes used to anchor a cow leash or other alternative uses as most moved to use the electric mixy or south Indian dedicated food processors (for Idly rice dough).

Still few use it and taking their quality time, daughter, mom and grandma. The technique is challenging... I've tried, won many laughs and gained much sweat.
