Jan Hus was a religious reformer that preceded Martin Luther and John Calvin and a key contributor to the Protestant movement. Hus lived from 1369-1415 and was burned at the stake for heresy against the Catholic Church. His teachings and sacrifice transformed religion within the Bohemia state.
