Alpine glow was predicted by Galen Rowell to return as dust settled out of the upper atmosphere from the Manila Volcano eruption years ago. And has it returned to the Eastern Sierras. This shot was taken at 7:02AM and I got the first sun on the tips at 7:21AM. It is an amazing amount of light to catch this. Strongest I've seen it.
