Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

He went and made himself a booth... Jonah 4: 5

This is a grab shot taken through our car window. I had just been to the library earlier
to return some material and discovered this good samaritan shoveling outside of the steps...There
were snow flurries falling down at the time that I shot this picture.. I thought it interesting he
was shoveling next to the photo booth sign where it mentions Mrs. Santa Claus...You can see we've had a lot of snow this month so far and it is not technically even winter yet until the 21st.

The librarians have been shooting pictures with their digital cameras of the patrons who come in
They set up a little photo booth decorated with tinsel streamers and the pictures they shoot are
displayed on a glass window partition behind their front desk...This is the first year they have done that ...They are an innovative group of ladies with lots of creative ideas to draw interest to the library. They make going to the library an enjoyable experience..

To see some of the librarians who work there ...here is a photo that I shot of them dressed in their cute Christmas Elf costumes...from two years ago.

WOW, that's a lot of snow for technically not being winter yet! We have had a couple of light freezes which is very uncommon here for it being fall still. That's a back breaking job to shovel snow, however this man wants to get the snow shoveled so that the kids can enjoy the Mrs. Claus story time and get a photo taken of them with Mrs. Claus, I presume : )
