The light of the body is the eye...St Matthew 6: 22

I should be doing the rest of my Christmas cards and letters which I am way behind on but there they sit on the table in front of me waiting patiently to be signed, sealed and mailed..

I took a break and did an experiment with manually opening to more light with a slow shutter speed of 1/6 sec and an ISO of 1000.

Not only the shutter speed is slow...I am also in getting my cards done. I decided to post this to the What's the Fuss theme...I dearly love Christmas but sometimes get overwhelmed when I procrastinate until the last minute to get my cards out and I fight with the deadline..Then I wonder later why I don't start in November.

You did an excellent job with the existing lighting : ). I just put all of my Christmas cards in the post office this evening. I did a marathon job of getting them together and am so glad to be done !!!

Thank you all for your response...I will eventually get my cards sent and I am going to work
hard on them this weekend,,,At least my Christmas letter is printed out to the recipients on my list, but just have to address and stamp the cards, etc.

I believe 90% of us experience the same thing!! I don't know why it's always a surprise to me when Christmas comes and I'm so far behind......it isn't like it doesn't happen on the same date every year!! LOL. But you managed to turn the situation into a gorgeous photo!!
