A: Do you know?

We had a dense fog overnight. This morning, around 9 AM I took this photo from our patio. While it is a good photo, I wanted to jazz it up so I used Curves in Aperture and came up with this almost infrared look which made the trees look like ice. More weather is coming in so I got a good darkish background and the fog still shows among the trees in the background.

Excellent capture and editing Ann. You got a great flock of birds in this shot...Do you know what species they are? They look like they could be Starlings. I have the Curves Adjustment in my photo shop but I don't know if it is the same as what you have in Aperture...Beautiful effect!

This is an eye opener for me. I've been using Aperture for a few years and never knew that there was a "curves" edit. TY, my friend. Moody shot !
