The Art of Takraw

Takraw is very popular in Thailand and adjacent countries. Perhaps best described as kick-volleyball, it is extremely spectacular, and played with a small ratan ball.

In this photo the spectacle-factor is lower than others that I have, but I particularly like the angle, and it gives a hint of the setting where it is played... under a giant stretch of concrete highway, in the middle of Bangkok

    Awesome action shot. Perfect timing. When I lived in South Korea, I noticed that they have the same game but played with volleyball of sorts. It was called chookoo.
