And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. James 3: 18
I picked these ripe berries off the vines in our back yard. The berries were yummy in spite of the inconvenience of mosquitoes, gnats and prickly thorns to get to them. Although they are not veggies...they are a magic crop that we look forward to in the summertime and of course as we all know berries are a good seller in the grocery stores and at Farm to Market Days where the vendors sell their vegetables and fruits.
For the berries picked
I got stabbed and pricked
Then I heard them sing...
Sounding high and shrill
Leaving their sting...
(Worse than sharp thorns)
Til' they had their fill.
I could have sworn
Mosquitoes and gnats
Were like blood thirsty bats.
