Michael for some reason I seem unable to send you a message directly. So here goes: the exposure time was around 6 seconds - I don't have a more precise figure because the picture is on an external drive back in the UK. I stopped down the lens, set the ISO to 100, threaded a polarizing filter which slowed things down by 2 stops or so, and metered (your basic evaluative or matrix mode) before the car entered the frame. I hit the shutter just as it was about the enter my field of view. And that's it. Probably more info than you wanted...thanks anyway for looking.
