WWII torpedo bomber, level bomber, anti submarine plane. This aircraft showed a lot of versatility in the variety of uses. It had a crew of three including pilot, radio gunner and gunner. Usually shipped on board fleet carriers, light fleet carriers and in the anti sub role on jeep carriers in the Atlantic such as the USS Guadalcanal that captured U 505 in tact, which is on static display in Chicago at the museum of Science.
