This is a fake tree, it is a work of art with gold inside of the trunk. It is at the back of the Museum of Fine Arts.

I wonder if I can pour gold in the tree by my house that was hit with lightening this summer. One problem, gold is expensive, right? Send money!!!

What better place for an artistic tree than in front of a great museum!! Well captured.

Wow glad you added your comments as did think that it had been hit by lightning as first. Interesting.

It is remarkable how they can make fake trees look so realistic...We've had lots of trees get struck by lightning through the years or blown down in wind storms but they usually get recycled to burn in our wood stove...They are worth their weight in gold to keep us warm in the winter months.
