Q: Why cant I post new stories? :(

A: Do you know?

My first, probably my last for 2015......

In my estimation, the new site is not an improvement, and is much more tedious to navigate. The digital magazine vs the printed magazine….not even worth discussing.

I know my uploads are ‘outside the box’, but people do seem to appreciate the humor. The world needs more humor, more things to laugh about, yet I have had photos removed because they don’t abide by the rules.

On the other side of that coin…...I have my filter in place so that I do not have to view the uploads that contain nudity. I realize that some folks want to see the nudes and that’s fine, but my decision not have to view them should receive just as much consideration. Not only do I continue to see nudes posted without being filtered, they're also spotlighted which means they show up randomly on pages I am viewing. When I report them using JPG’s process, often days go by without anything being done. To me, that’s flaunting the rules.

In closing, I would like to thank everyone for sharing their photos with me, and for all of the likes, faves and comments. Your reactions to my work has meant the world to me!

A giant thank you to Donnafor spotlighting this photo!! ❤

And another giant thank you to Barbara for the Photo of the Week nomination!!❤

Susan, I will miss your wonderful sense of humor. You have always made me laugh when I am down. I wish you, the bees, and the little people, good luck wherever you go.:-) You were one of the first people on JPG to send me a message, and I will never forget that or you. Don't know what else to say except Love ya, and God Bless!

I am devastated but not 100% surprised. The change , although long coming is tricky to navigate, maybe it is me? I love your work and loved out comments and chats, you are a true blessing will be missed by so many. Keep doing your own thing and I know I will see you and your great images and creativity again. Hugs Lynn

Susan, I'm hearing you! I've loved your posts and humor and it will be sorely missed. I don't know how much longer I will be here. There are fewer and fewer people posting and it's gotten to the point where this site has moved down on my priority list, as it seems to be for a lot of folks now. Hopefully we won't loose touch, my friend!

Sad to see this, Susan, though you are going out with the same flair you've maintained throughout. I hope you will leave your gallery intact so we can continue to enjoy it. I agree with you on the site changes -- for the sake of change, not improvement -- and you are totally right on the nudes. I have thought of leaving myself, because I do not feel my pictures get the recognition they deserve, though I am grateful for every view, "like," prop, favorite, and comment. Hope you will continue to post on Facebook. Would love to meet you face to face some day. Thanks for all your many contributions.

Susan, I am so sad to hear that you are leaving the site : (. You have the very best humor and that will be sorely missed, my friend!!! There are several things that I do not like about JPG that I do not think is fair to us. The most recent is why did a new member with just 1 comment get the honor of having the Photo of the Week? It seems there is no reason for us to comment or vote if JPG not only nominates a photo but makes it Photo of the Week! That is a slap in the face to all that were nominated for the Photo of the Week and had plenty of comments and votes to qualify for the honor. And this frustrating "improvement" on the main page that is very difficult to navigate. Also not making a safe filter mandatory on nude photos. Even when we report them they are not always covered with the filter. However, over the years that I have been on JPG I have formed some good friendships that I want to keep up with and exchange comments with each other, so I plan to stick in there with them. So Susan, best of luck, I really understand why you are leaving.

You will be missed here on JPG but will always remain in our hearts Susan!! You were the only one who made me laugh and smile on this site! Producing humour is the hardest job and you have done it with finesse! I salute you. And yes I too absolutely agree with you about the unfiltered nudity. Its sad how the admin doesn't look into it. And I too find this new navigation very unfriendly!
But I am an optimistic person and so I hope one day you'll return among your friends who love you so much!! Hugs and love!!

I am so sorry to see you go. I have to agree about the new layout. It is difficult to navigate and I find it irritating. However, this is still the place where I have met some of the greatest people....like you. Your work has given me some great laughs and smiles over the years and I will miss you. Please keep your page here so that we can continue to look back. I know there are probably hundreds that I have missed as I often get so busy. Best of luck to you, Susan. You are a treasure. My contact info is on my profile page here. Let me know where you go, if you do continue.....love and XO.

I am certainly with you on all counts. I do not understand the random nudity that appears. Yet, when I posted Easter Peeps dedicated to breast awareness, they were marked as unsuitable for public consumption. Then more recently I posted a beautiful photo of an old rust gutter can in the category "Water Falls," which water does do through gutter cans, it was removed from the category as not relevant to the theme. Others in between maligned as well. If you go somewhere else, let me know b/c I LOVE your intellect and humor. Maybe Flickr? You are amazing!
