    This is really a gorgeous flower and capture of it...It looks like a dahlia...I love the buds about ready to open also....I too am looking forward to summer..Our temps actually got up to 48 today and that's a heat wave for us.

    I love Dahlias, they do not grow well here with our hot climate. We are getting a lot of rain and we are under a flood watch. So far the rain is coming down slowly and soaks into the ground or runs off and does not cause flooding.
