...Anointed with the oil of gladness....Psalms 45: 7

Winnie the pooh
Caught some goo
on my sweater
But I'll bet
Who did better
Was the "piglet."
Poetry by me AJP

In 2009 JPG had a challenge on lemons. This was the first test shot out of the few that I practiced
on that day before the egg part of the solution dried on my face making it feel like plaster. Those
were the days when we were challenged to do the daily diary series also and I used myself as a guinea pig on many occasions...but believe it or not it was a fun series.

I have not looked at this self portrait since then but I think it is better than the one I ended up using for the lemon theme that year. I am not posing here but used the mirror to see what I was doing when the solution was newly applied and at its messiest. If you notice a glob of it was dripping down the side of my nose. I am surprised I wasn't worried it would drip in my eyes..

Thank you all for your kind response....I read somewhere that lemon juice, and olive oil mixed with raw egg is good for dry skin so it was a good experiment.
