Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

The Brazos River is not nearly this wide or deep at its normal state. The river has not crested yet so it will be even wider when it does crest. Right now they are saying that it is at 90 ft. deep where at the normal depth is 20 ft.

Thank you JPG staff for the courtesy of a spotlight, it is appreciated a lot !

Beautiful shot, but that water looks deadly!

I would love to see this in a photo essay .When you look across to see how high it looks against the trees it does appear very deep...

Amazing view of this river. I saw some pictures on tv of this river and the areas that were flooded around it, it was very severe and I can imagine the devastation! These photos are perfect for a photo essay as Andrea suggested. I'd love to see you do one, Ann!
