The lord shall give that which is good and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him and shall set us in the way of his steps...Psalms 85:12-13

What's left of fall....
For eyes to see all
Has evidence there
Ere' the tree is bare.

Gold leaves that fell
Holds still its spell..
To increase her yield
O'er land and field.
Poetry by me AJP

We had just walked down to pick up our mail before continuing on our trail in the woods.. Tippi is trying out her new leash here that my husband has her on until we get to the top of our hill ... our driveway adjoins with the highway and we want to keep her safe from getting hit by a car.

This is the maple tree where I photographed a few cows in the neighbors pasture who were standing underneath the leaves across the ditch from our fence line last Friday..It froze that same evening. As you see there are many leaves on the driveway now.

I made a promise to myself instead of feeling sad that the wind and frost killed most of our flowers and blew lots of the leaves off the trees.... instead will look for what is left of fall to photograph ..There are a couple of Cosmos flowers that survived the frost and a few asters alive among the dead but it makes what is still there to stand out and ironically in some ways easier to find.

In the What's Left Of Fall photo essay.

What a beautiful photo to capture the end of fall in your neck of the woods. Looking forward to seeing what you can find to photograph in the end of fall.

Thank you for your kind words...I might have a harder time trying to find what's left of fall when it
turns drab brown after the trees are completely void of leaves but I am committed:)
