On Tuesday December 29th 2015 at 11:39pm I was sitting on my love seat in my bedroom reading when I heard a loud rumble and my room seemed as if it was shifting back and forth, much like you would feel on a small ship in large waves. It was an Earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude. The epicenter was 20.0km North of Victoria, in Sidney, B.C. too close to home for me, as it was one of the largest Earthquakes I have personally felt in my lifetime while living here in B.C. Canada. We are expecting THE BIG ONE to hit us somewhere in B.C. at a size of 9 or greater in magnitude, sure to cause much damage.

This photo was the last Sunset I shot through my bedroom window on December 30 2015, only one day after the Earthquake. Thankful no one was hurt and no damage was reported, just shook us up and gave us another warning to be prepared for when the big one hits!
