The field is the world....St. Matthew 13: 38

I have been going through my archives and cleaning out to keep and not to keep . This one is a keeper that I shot with my Kodak DX7590 Zoom Digital Camera that I bought in September of 2005 that year...I loved that little camera even though it only had 5 megapixels ...It was a good digital for back then before the newer advanced models came out and a big improvement over an earlier digital that I had (not Kodak) with even fewer pixels that used floppy discs....I am at the age where I am still amazed by the technology of the digital world when I grew up with film cameras and how digital has brought the world to us that we never dreamed was possible.

This picture I shot across the field next to our driveway of South Gate..(A housing development bought a farmers property and built a community of houses)...The field that separates us is rented by another farmer to plant his crops earlier in the spring.

Brilliant. One of your best, classic simplicity.

Brrrrr ... that looks very cold!!! I enjoyed your narrative about the cameras that you had before digital cameras were introduced. What an improvement, no film to buy and pay for processing - wow!

The houses seem so imsignificant samdwiched between the vastness of the snowy field and threatening sky.
