....Ran before and climbed up into a tree to see Him:....St. Luke 19: 4

I shot this before TIppi crawled up the broken limb of the weeping willow tree ... She was in pursuit of a squirrel but again the squirrel got away from her...Tippi is agile and she is very careful with her footing....She is more cat-like than dog. I have never witnessed a dog climbing trees before, we had Tippi.

I know that Tippi hated for the squirrel got away from her. I wonder what she would do if she caught a squirrel but I doubt that would happen as the squirrels are fast : )

Thanks for commenting. Ann, When Tippi was a puppy and faster she caught a rabbit in the woods and she caught a few young squirrels...Being partly Jack Russell she has that nature in her blood. But now that she is not a puppy anymore I think she enjoys the chase more than she does the catching. Dogs get old so fast and I love that she is good health at this time of her life.

Reminds me of the Huskey-Sheppard I used to have. When he was young he would chase down a squirrl and eat it, later we would find the remains coughed up on the living room rug.
