A toy for boys in front of a store for kids. Not sure if we send the right signals to our children. Security is one thing overdoing it another. What will this add to safety? And especially if there are 3 of them parked on the pavement. Ahh well I thought it lend itself for a funny but frightening picture. Reminds me of the Siege with Bruce Willis.

Today, I saw this army truck at Time Square, New York city infront of the Army Recruitment Center. First I thought it was quite odd to have a huge army trucks in the midst of the most happening place in the world, but I looked carefully and found that the trucks are loaded with toys. My wild guess was that Army might have come to shop for the toys to give present to the kids of faraway U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq and worldwide.

hahaha, funny one. But it is not unusual for Americans to display a show of force. The NYPD does that twice a day by parading to many NYPD squad cars around the city in lines of 20-30 at a time..

I would definitely say frightening! Did you notice that you have the word "safe" in your photo, perhaps it means that the army is keeping Toys R Us safe for the children, just my imagination running on its own?
